Are there any genealogic programs that permit you to search by locations that are contained in your tree? In fact, can I search for anything other than people data in my tree?

Places of Interest: Dunbarney, Forfar, East London (S.Africa)

Hi Dennis
If using Legacy you can go to Search > Find and it gives various options for searching your data.
For locations you can go to View > Master Lists > Location and it gives you a list of all the places you have typed in.
Or you can go to Reports > Books/Other > Location Report and it will run up a list of locations and which person in your tree they refer to. You have the option to preview it and/or print it out (if you feel like wiping out a small forest - mine produces 97 pages!)
