Hi Anniee,
I looked at the birth index and presume that she was Elizabeth Fulton McDonald. If you look for the marriage of Elizabeth Fulto McDonald [SP allows only 15 letters including spaces for given name(s), so the middle name stops short], you will get two results, both in Ayrshire before ScotlandsPeople's current limit date of 1933. This could be the same person marrying twice, or two separate Elizabeth Fulto McDonalds.
On looking up the deaths, there are two matches for Elizabeth Fulto McDonald. Both are beyond the SP limit date for offering online images. One is an obvious match for one of the marriages. The other doesn't match the other marriage, unless she remarried after 1933. Neither death is a good match by age. One would imply a c1902 birth, the other c1889. Given the inaccuracies that can creep into a death certificate, either could be her (or of course it may be neither).
So it looks like your starting point has to be to look at the two marriages on ScotlandsPeople and see if either is her.
All the best,
AndrewP

Hi Aniee, anniee wrote:the initials F and D could be FREW and DOWNS
If you go to ScotlandsPeople, you will find that the Elizabeth F McDonald born in Irvine in 1896 has the first middle name FULTO (presumably cut short from Fulton).
It would be worth your while checking this one out on SP.
All the best,
Andrew
