Hi Anne

Always looking for Denovans!!!

Dont think any of them are mine at this point in time , however I have but them in my wee folder of possible links !!!!

Sometimes i think this folder has more in it than the actual tree

Despite Denovan being an unusual surname i have a couple of unaccounted for children , but these are in Glasgow around 1891 onwards

Came across the following in the 'Hatches, Matches & Despatches' section of the Stirling Observer, dated 7th February 1900.

Marriages: Denovan - McEwan
At Pirnhall Inn, Bannockburn, on the 30th ult. by the Rev. J. M. Robertson, St. Ninians, (30th January 1900)
Donald Campbell Denovan to Mary Matthew (Polly), youngest daughter of William McEwan

Dont know of the connection.......................yet

I have promised myself this year to do more on the denovans , so will put it in the possibles folders till i find out where it fits in.

Campbell was a maiden name in the Denovans further back so might be worth having a look on SP
